Hello, I'm Jamaal Wilson, the proud owner of Bright Idea Electric in Atlanta. With 15 years in the electrical industry, my journey began with the union, where I gained valuable experience and skills. However, I always had the idea of starting my own company to have the freedom to make decisions and to coach others.
Turning my life around was a significant milestone for me, and I want to help others do the same. I'm deeply committed to building a strong community, and a big part of my philosophy is to mentor young men through hard times, helping them avoid going down a bad path.
At Bright Idea Electric, we prioritize customer service. Our team is presentable, professional, and always respects your home. We understand that electrical issues can be stressful, so we aim to make the process as smooth and hassle-free as possible for you.
What I love most about my work is the craftsmanship involved. I enjoy making electrical systems both functional and presentable. The technical aspects of the job are fascinating to me, but even more, I love working with people. Coaching and training my team is another passion of mine, as I believe in continuous professional development.
Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my family and being involved in my church. Our community in Atlanta is close-knit, and people genuinely want to help each other out. The diversity here makes it a wonderful place to live and work.
